Games Powered by Cave

In this section you'll find good examples of what is possible to do using Cave Engine.

Paralland

Made in 72 hours for the game jam Ludum Dare 51, Paralland is also an Uniday Studio game. It was created using Cave Engine version 0.9.8. In PARALLAND, you control a little guy who is trapped in a spell that makes the world flips between the normal dimension and the “paralland” one. The problem is that this new dimension is evil, full of bad creatures and traps. You need to help the little guy to collect all the orbs stuck in Paralland in order to proceed to the portals and escape! It's a platformer game available for you to Play here.

The Looper's Path

This is the first Uniday Studio game made using Cave! And it was made in 72 hours for the game jam Ludum Dare 50. It was created using Cave Engine version 0.9.8. In this game you control Looper, a robot that loses his energy (in a shape of energy orbs) as you walk. When it runs out of energy, it explodes! The good news is that looper does have clones to help you walk throught the levels and their clones will recover energy from your past lost orbs. It's a puzzle game available for you to Play on Itch io.

Sweet Shelter

The World's first Cave Game! Yes, this is the first game ever made and exported with Cave Engine (version 0.9.6 - alpha). It was made in about 72 hours by @renatoaruffo for a Game Jam (#UnidayJam2021). The game is inspired by Little Nightmares and Hansel and Gretel. The player is lost in a forest, on a heavy rainy night, full of delicious treat, trying to find her brother.

You can download and play the game here: Sweet Shelter on itch io
